IV Ketamine Treatment for Depression and Bipolar Disorder

Advanced Psychiatric Solutions, a division of Psychiatry Associates of Kansas City, has been providing IV ketamine treatments for the past 3 years since 2016. We are the largest psychiatry private practice group in the Greater Kansas City area and are the oldest and biggest IV ketamine practice in the area. We have performed over 1000 ketamine treatments over the past 3 years.

IV ketamine treatments for treatment-resistant depression are "perhaps the most important breakthrough in antidepressant treatment in decades," according to Dr. Thomas Insel, the former director of the National Institute of Mental Health.

We are the only ketamine clinic in the area in which patients are seen by both Board-Certified Anesthesiologists, who administer the IV ketamine treatments, and Board-Certified Psychiatrists who see the patients both before and after their IV ketamine treatments on Monday mornings. Most patients do a series of 6 IV ketamine treatments once a week on Mondays for 6 weeks in a row in our ketamine suite in suite 450, as this has shown to produce the most beneficial, long-lasting results. Our IV ketamine treatments are given by anesthesiologists from Mobile Anesthesia Care, a division of Anesthesiology Associates of Kansas City, the biggest anesthesiology private practice group in the Greater Kansas City area.

We offer a safe and effective treatment for patients who have treatment-resistant depression and have not responded to traditional antidepressants. Please contact our APSKC clinical coordinator, at 913-529-7109, for additional information.
