Advanced Psychiatric Solutions, a division of Psychiatry Associates of Kansas City, has been providing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) since 2016. We are the largest private psychiatric group, in the Kansas City Metro area, and have performed more TMS treatments, than any psychiatric practice in the area, over the past 3 years.
Our TMS Suite, in Leawood, KS, has 4 TMS machines, that are able to provide FDA-approved TMS protocols for severe treatment-resistant depression, in 3 minutes, 19 minutes and 37 minute intervals.
We accept all major private insurances, as well as Medicare, for TMS benefits. In the event a patient’s insurance does not provide for TMS benefits, we also have self-pay rates available. Our practice has over a dozen psychiatrists, that will be able to see outside patient referrals, as quickly as a week, after contact with our office has been established. Our goal is to provide a safe and effective alternative for patients who do not respond to traditional medication management, for Major Depressive Disorder and Bipolar Depression.
